Description

Only a watch that speaks to you can speak for you. This limited edition Mamut watch comes with a black asymmetric grid skeleton dial and its number in the limited series engraved on the caseback.

This men’s watch winds as you move, so you’ll never have to worry about changing the batteries. The automatic movement can also be wound by turning the crown.

The Mamut series is heavy, solid, and robust. Its surgical-grade stainless steel case and straps are complemented by a sapphire crystal protecting the dial, making it scratch and tarnish resistant. The screws around the dial resemble the front of an antique diver’s helmet, adding to its rugged aesthetic.

The straps are closed with a discrete butterfly clasp. Its short links allow for more accurate resizing and make it more flexible than most steel straps. The clasp, crown, and side of the case proudly carry the Arkai logo.

The watch was presented very well in the advertisement. When I held the piece of jewelry in my hand, I was overwhelmed! I once bought a watch which included the setup for changing the strap with a small hammer. I would welcome that with this elegant watch, as knocking out the pins with a cut 1mm thick nail and the hammer from the workshop was almost physically painful. I am really proud to be able to wear this watch.

The watch gives a stable impression, looks very solid, and truly stands out on the wrist. For those who like fine watches, this isn’t for them as it is already quite large on the wrist, in my opinion. But that’s how it should be. Why else in gold? Just one point that bothers me a bit so far is that the automatic movement makes a bit of noise inside. This can also be heard in some more expensive watches, but it’s a bit more than usual with this one. Otherwise, I can’t say anything bad so far; it is also waterproof under the faucet as described. Unfortunately, I only had to remove 2 links, which cost a few euros, but that is almost the case with every watch during adjustment.
